MODE D’ EMPLOI: always eat good food, send mail to people, never stop traveling, pet the rabbits, and work when necessary
Joseph and I are residing in Denver with our four rabbits, Nietzsche, Vienn, Milan and Rupert. I am a studio art teacher at a Denver charter school just down the road from our flat.
We just bought our first place and I’m working {slowly} on making it post-modern-Bohemian-Anthro-European-mise-en-scene-comfy-chic. I don’t know exactly what that means, but I think it means whatever we find at the thrift stores and Anthropologie.
When I’m not working or hanging out with friends I love to read design blogs, watch Wes Anderson movies, bake and cook with Joseph, read Travel+Leisure, Blueprint and the Sunday NY Times.
My husband and I go skiing in the winter and like the fresh air in Breck, Vail, and Keystone. We love drinking hot chocolate after a good run {for me that means not falling}!
My perfect day is spending time with family and friends, whether it is in my home town of Cincinnati, or in the high mountains of Colorado {my favorite is Mt. Evans}.
I consider myself to be a jet-setter, but these days I’ve been on the ground to start my career. Some of my favorite places are Ireland, Scotland, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Thailand, San Francisco, Chicago, and Maine. My travel list continues to grow and I never stop daydreaming about getting back on a plane and seeing the world!
