This is a design for my Irish dance solo dress.
It is composed of matte gold, a sheen ivory called Oyster, and a dark Paynes grey. I suppose you could say the colors are inspired by part J.Crew {who else?} and part oyster shell. You only need to add a Guinness and things are complete! Nothing goes better with oysters than Guinness!
The style and Celtic knots are traditional from the Book of Kells. It may not look like a typical rabbit, but designs from the Book of Kells were abstract, and pretty old! I can’t imagine a world without domesticated lounging lop-ear rabbits! My design is special to me because it is a rabbit, just like Vienn when she is sleeping! She is a great symbol for me because she is gentle and sweet, but when she needs to dominate, she is fierce!
The necklaces above would look great with my dress once it is finished. Irish coins were so cool before the Euro.
