{Kitchen Chalkboard via BloesemKids}
I think about food all the time. I love smelling food, looking at photographs of food, reading recipes, making food, and especially eating other people’s food! This cute blog {via Oh Happy Day!}, Bloesem Kids, showcases a kitchen whose chalkboard looks just like ours! Every time we bring home our groceries I write the week’s menu on the board so we don’t waste/forget what we have in the cupboard. Our chalkboard is riddled with pictures of Ellie and Papabubble candy, postcards from Spain, Goetta recipes, flying pigs and more. I think there is a picture lurking around on the website…
Today Joseph and I walked down to Tattered Cover to read the latest magazines and drink and ice cold Izze {grapefruit}. It is hot in the sun, but luckily the shade can be a downtown girl’s best friend. There is a nice breeze… I am drinking my tea and trying to wake up before I head down to the dance studio. It will be my first day back since before my surgery. I am so excited to dance again, but worry that my out-of-shape body won’t be able to keep up!

Destroyer Trouble in Dreams
Oh, the chalkboard wall! I remember my elation when I first saw one in my friend Allison’s kitchen. I am looking forward to the day when I buy my own place and immediately plant one in my kitchen!

…And I am excited to find another ballerina! I am going through he same re-initiation to dance process that you are; I took a year’s hiatus during my junior year (last year) of college. I cannot wait to get back on my toes in September
I am quite obsessed with your blog and observations! Your entries have inspired me to be desirous of trips to Denver and Cincinnati in order to visit all of the cute shops and restaurants you have featured. C’est une shame that there are not more people like you attending my university (I am the only journalism/art history major I know! People in Miami seem to be more into things like tanning oils and accounting than Chagall or Toulousse Lautrec
Anyhow, I am eagerly anticipating future entries! Cheers!
