I have decided that one of my newest dream jobs is to work in the creative department for kate spade. It wouldn’t really matter what I would work on because it all looks fantastic. I spent an hour reading through all their projects, events, and all the other goodies in Behind the Curtain. It lead me to some other interesting blog finds like Hollister Hovey and Bunny Tomerlin. I like Bunny Tomerlin’s blog because she mentions Fischer Price little people {we used to play with} and pickled okra {a Meyer~McCoy childhood favorite}.

I hope everyone had a marvelous 4th of July! We posted photographs on 9F Flickr {see left}. If you have pictures send them my way please!!! Jaren and Patrick made the most delicious burgers with a seasoning bought from the Savory Spice Shoppe and homemade French vanilla ice cream! It was a perfect holiday treat! Merci Jaren and Patrick and Willie!
Free day at the museums! I used to have a membership to the DAM, but it just recently expired, so sad. Joseph and I will be seasonal patrons next year. I am most positive that every city has free days, so take advantage of them! Museums are magical places that transport you back to elementary field trips!

Stacey–I loved reading your blog. Thank you so much for mentioning my blog. I’m grateful to you and the Kate Spade crew. Oh, I love the names you chose for your bunnies, too.
Darling, I lived in Denver from 04-06. How is that we never bumped into each other? Or did you just arrive? Anyway…nice to see someone with taste and style is keeping the old cow town alive!
Love the blog,
XOXO,
Daniel
