I am very pleased that J.Crew has brought back this classic Elizabeth Halter! I saw this in the November 2007 J.Crew catalog {see left, thanks M.A. Belle!} that I still have in my pile of magazines and catalogs. Yes, I have wanted a shirt since last November. Can you believe how silly that is? I don’t know why I am this way, but I guess everyone, including me, will just have to accept my sartorial interests and obsessions.
I talked to mom yesterday and she informed me that Maggie just got one, I think in white!!! I am extremely envious. At the beginning of the school year I buy a colored shirt {we have a dress code} to go under sweaters, but I might just have to do my shopping now

I love the yellow, of course, but I think a classic navy might be versatile.

I did in fact buy a white one for Maggie … we were shoppin (at J Crew of course) and I took it over to her … she didn’t think she would like it, but once she put it on she fell in love and it looked fantastic on her! Since then, whe has ordered a black one on line. Sandy and I love shopping with our girls!! Love you … Jude
Hi Stace..I do love this shirt. The one in the store (ivory and navy) is a cotton/silk blend. I believe these are the only ones you can get in the store. The blouses on line are all silk and come in different colors. Happy shopping!!
