I think I’m a little late on this one… Not on the history of British WWII propaganda tactics, but to the trend of silk screening “Keep Calm and Carry On”. I wasn’t really looking for this in particular, but I happened upon it while reading SF Girl by the Bay. Coinsidently SF Girl by Bay has an Etsy account and makes these prints in pretty colours. SFGBTB too shares a love for the colour grey. Ah… so soothing and neutral. It will never grow old.
Anyway I found the history on this really cool site, also named Keep Calm and Carry On.
Since I never got a birthday present from Mr. Joseph Pings, he promised to get me a poster for our flat. Better late than never!
{Yellow or Grey or maybe even RED????? Yikes!}

Destroyer Trouble in Dreams
ooooh i’ve always wanted one of these in my kitchen. I tend to freak out a bit when cooking. I love cooking, so much so that I like to try cooking three things at once (often including a new recipe that I’ve never made before) and then I freak out =/
Thanks for you comment on my blog, it’s always nice to meet another blogger with similar interests
